Astronomy and Origins
http://www.AstronomyOrigins.com
A website discussing the origins debate in astronomy. Written from a creationist perspective, and aimed at a skeptical audience. This site is updated every few months and includes articles on cosmology, astronomy, and planetary science. Most articles address specific issues in origins science, but general astronomy is also discussed. (There is also a regularly-updated page with astronomical
images accompanied by brief descriptions.)
Origin of the Human Species by Dennis Bonnette
www.origin.youshoppe.com
Explains and promotes my book, "Origin of the Human Species," a philosophical analysis of the theory of evolution covering many topics ranging from comparison of creationism to evolution, nature of biological and philosophic species, ape-language studies, extraterrestrial life, paleoanthropological data vs. Adam and Eve, age of man and the cosmos, and so forth. Too broad to explain in detail here.

Intelligent Design
Intelligent design (ID) refers to the theory that intelligent causes are responsible for the origin of the universe and of life in all its diversity.* Advocates of ID maintain that their theory is scientific and provides empirical proof for the existence of God or superintelligent aliens. They believe that design is empirically detectable in nature and in living systems. They claim that intelligent design should be taught in the science classroom because it is an alternative to the scientific theory of natural selection.
The arguments of the ID advocates may seem like a rehash of the creationist arguments, but the defenders of ID claim that they do not reject evolution simply because it does not fit with their understanding of the Bible. However, they present natural selection as implying the universe could not have been designed or created, which is nonsense. To deny that God has the power to create living things using natural selection is to assert something unknowable. It is also inconsistent with the belief in an omnipotent Creator. More . . .

Intelligent Design
Although Intelligent Design may have been born out of opposition to the theory of evolution, it does not oppose the concept of evolution as a mechanism for directed, intelligent creation, nor even for limited, apparently undirected natural change. Ostensibly its main purpose is to investigate whether or not there is empirical evidence that life on Earth was designed by an intelligent agent or agents. For example, William Dembski, one of ID's leading proponents, has stated that the "fundamental claim" of ID is that "there are natural systems that cannot be adequately explained in terms of undirected natural forces and that exhibit features which in any other circumstance we would attribute to intelligence."

Access Research Network
Access Research Network is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing accessible information on science, technology and society.
We focus on such controversial topics as genetic engineering, euthanasia, computer technology, environmental issues, creation/evolution, fetal tissue research, AIDS, and so on. Through our publications and product offers, we give you the infomation you need to orient yourself in today's scientific and technological world and make informed decisions.
But science and technology are only half the picture. We put science topics in perspective by looking at related political, ethical and philosophical issues--so you can get a well-rounded understanding of the hot issues.
In our articles and publications we cover a host of issues--most of them controversial. Although we never shy away from controversy, we don't let it consume us either. We've mixed a little ancient proverbial wisdom with some common sense to develop the ARN approach to controversial topics.

Design Yes, Intelligent No
The claims by Behe, Dembski, and other 'intelligent design' creationists that science should be opened to supernatural explanations and that these should be allowed in academic as well as public school curricula are unfounded and based on a misunderstanding of both design in nature and of what the neo-Darwinian theory of evolution is all about.

Wilson wrote this:
I don't believe anything, but I have many suspicions.
I strongly suspect that a world "external to," or at least independent of,
my senses exists in some sense.
I also suspect that this world shows signs of intelligent design, and I suspect that such intelligence acts via feedback from all parts to all parts and without centralized sovereignity, like Internet; and that it does not function hierarchically, in the style an Oriental despotism, an American corporation or Christian theology..
I somewhat suspect that Theism and Atheism both fail to account for such decentralized intelligencce, rich in circular-causal feedback.
I more-than-half suspect that all "good" writing, or all prose and poetry that one wants to read more than once, proceeds from a kind of "alteration in consciousness," i.e. a kind of controlled schizophrenia. [Don't become alarmed -- I think good acting comes from the same place.]
I sometimes suspect that what Blake called Poetic Imagination expresses this exact thought in the language of his age, and that visits by"angels" and "gods" states it an even more archaic argot.
These suspicions have grown over 72 years, but as a rather slow and stupid fellow I do not have the chutzpah to proclaim any of them as certitudes. Give me another 72 years and maybe I'll arrive at firmer conclusions.
